Eastcomtrans of Kazakhstan Seeks $100 Million Syndicated Loan

June 29 (Bloomberg) -- Eastcomtrans LLP, the largest private owner and operator of freight wagons in Kazakhstan, is seeking a $100 million loan.

BNP Paribas SA is arranging the five-year term loan, which will finance the acquisition of 1,000 new wagons, the Paris- based bank said in an e-mailed statement.

Eastcomtrans, which is based in Almaty, expects to own a total of 7,851 railcars at the end of the year, according to the statement.
