Mozambique May Achieve 8%, 10% Growth on Management, Sachs Says

June 23 (Bloomberg) -- Mozambique’s economy could expand by between 8 percent and 10 percent if the nation’s resources are properly managed, Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs said.

The southern African nation’s mining industry is part of the equation for growth, Sachs, who is advising the Mozambican government, said in an interview today in the capital, Maputo.
