June 21 (Bloomberg) -- As many as 12 Nigerien farmers were killed and another seven injured by a group of armed men in the Tuareg region of Mali, Abdou Labo, Niger’s minister of the interior, said in an interview broadcast on national radio.
“The attackers arrived on motorcycles equipped with weapons,” he said on Niamey-based Voix du Sahel today. “They killed a dozen farmers.”
