June 17 (Bloomberg) -- King Mohammed VI of Morocco announced constitutional ammendments that would change the goverance of the North African nation.
The new constitution will provide more power for the elected parliament, he said.
The constitutional measures will provide for human rights, criminalize torture and assure equal rights for women, he said in a televised address to the nation.
