June 16 (Bloomberg) --State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co., the largest U.S. home and car insurer, said it has paid almost $1.75 billion in claims from natural disasters in April and May, including hailstorms and tornadoes.
Customers have reported more than 400,000 claims, according to a PR Newswire statement today from the Bloomington, Illinois- based insurer. State Farm is owned by policyholders.
