Euro Weakens as ECB’s Wellink Says Aid Fund May Need to Double

June 16 (Bloomberg) -- The euro fell for a second day against the dollar after European Central Bank Governing Council member Nout Wellink was quoted by the Dagblad newspaper as saying a planned European aid fund may need to be doubled.

The single currency slid 0.4 percent to $1.4122 as of 1:54 p.m. in Tokyo from yesterday in New York.
