Euro Declines After Juncker Says Greece Progress ‘Difficult’

June 17 (Bloomberg) -- The euro fell against the dollar and the yen after Luxembourg’s Jean-Claude Juncker was quoted by the German newspaper Tagesspiegel as saying progress resolving the Greek debt crisis is “extremely difficult.”

The single currency slid to $1.4176 as of 11:48 a.m. in Tokyo from $1.4204 yesterday in New York. It declined to 114.31 yen from 114.56 yen.
