June 15 (Bloomberg) -- Acer Inc., the world’s second- largest supplier of notebook computers, expects PC shipments in the fourth quarter to be higher than the previous quarter, JT Wang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer said at a shareholders’ meeting in Taipei today.
Acer expects PC shipments in the third quarter to be similar or higher than the previous three months, Wang said.
Shareholders today approved cutting employees bonuses for 2010 by 40 percent to NT$900 million.
