South Africa Revokes Transworld Mine Right, Business Report Says

June 8 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa withdrew a mineral sands mining right at Xolobeni in the Eastern Cape from Transworld Energy and Minerals and Xolobeni Empowerment Co., Business Report said, citing Legal Resources Centre.

The companies didn’t consult properly with the community living in the environmentally-sensitive area, the Johannesburg- based newspaper said.
