June 8 (Bloomberg) -- Renaissance Capital said it appointed Ali Khalpey as head of equities in South Africa.

Khalpey joined Renaissance in January last year and will retain his responsibility as head of sales for Africa, Renaissance said in an e-mailed statement from Moscow today.
