Malawi Benchmark Tea Price Falls 15% at Sale, Tea Brokers Says

June 8 (Bloomberg) -- The benchmark price of tea in Malawi, Africa’s largest producer of the crop after Kenya, fell 15 percent to $1.88 per kilogram (2.2 pounds) at an auction yesterday, Tea Brokers Central Africa, which manages the country’s tea auctions, said in an e-mailed report today.
