North, South Sudanese Forces Clash For Second Day in Oil Region

June 7 (Bloomberg) -- Forces from the northern and Southern Sudanese armies clashed for a second day today in Kadugli, the capital of Southern Kordofan, northern Sudan’s only oil- producing state, United Nations spokesman Kouider Zerrouk said.

Six dead bodies were received by the Kadugli police hospital after today’s clashes, he said by phone from Khartoum, Sudan’s capital.
