Corn Costlier Than Wheat in Chicago for First Time Since 1984

June 8 (Bloomberg) -- Corn futures are more expensive than wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade for the first time since 1984, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Corn for July delivery, the most active contract, traded at $7.43 a bushel at 7:25 a.m. in Singapore while wheat for delivery in the same month traded at $7.3875 a bushel.
