June 6 (Bloomberg) -- Malaysia has a significant amount of resources that remain untapped, Petroliam Nasional Bhd. Chief Executive Officer Shamsul Azhar Abbas said at the Asia Oil and Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur today. About 1.7 billion barrels of oil equivalent in the nation are yet to be produced, he said. Shamsul also said that more could be done to improve oilfield recovery.
