June 5 (Bloomberg) -- Exxaro Resources Ltd. may face a strike next week after the South African coal miner decided to go ahead with a plan to fire 300 workers, a labor union said.

Workers will vote on June 7 on whether to proceed with the strike, the National Union of Mineworkers said in an e-mailed statement today.
