South African House-Price Inflation Slows, Standard Bank Says

June 3 (Bloomberg) -- South African house-price inflation eased to an annual 3.3 percent in May from 3.4 percent in the previous month, Standard Bank Group Ltd. said.

Growth in the residential property market will probably “track inflation, with zero or negligible growth in real terms” in 2011, the Johannesburg-based lender said in an e- mailed statement today.
