Sino-Forest Has Set Up Special Committee After Allegations

June 3 (Bloomberg) -- Sino-Forest Corp. has set up a special committee to deal with accusations it overstated its timberland holdings and production in China’s Yunnan province, Charlotte Cheung, assistant manager of investor relations, said today in an interview at the company’s office in Hong Kong.

She declined to comment on the accusations and said the company will issue a statement before the market opens in Canada.
