June 3 (Bloomberg) -- OGX Petroleo & Gas Participacoes SA, the oil company controlled by Brazilian billionaire Eike Batista, found evidence of oil in an offshore well in the Campos Basin.
The discovery was made at well 3OGX42DRJS in the C-M-592 block, according to a posting on the website of the National Petroleum Agency. OGX, based in Rio de Janeiro, hasn’t determined whether the discovery can be developed commercially. The company found oil in several nearby wells this year.
