Acer Falls in Taipei After First-Quarter Net Misses Estimates

April 25 (Bloomberg) -- Acer Inc., the world’s second- largest supplier of notebook computers, fell in Taipei trading after posting the lowest quarterly profit in six years and missing analyst estimates.
Net income at the world’s second-largest supplier of notebook computers declined to NT$1.2 billion. Acer dropped 2.5 percent to NT$49.80 as of 9:02 a.m. in Taipei, the most since April 20.
