Apple Reports Second-Quarter EPS of $6.40, Est. $5.39

April 20 (Bloomberg) -- Apple Inc. reported second-quarter earnings of $6.40 a share.
The average estimate of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg was for a profit of $5.39.
Apple reported second-quarter revenue of $24.67 billion. Analysts estimated $23.38 billion in a Bloomberg survey.
The company also forecast third-quarter revenue of about $23 billion. Analysts estimate sales of $23.79 billion, according to a Bloomberg survey.
