European Stocks Fall; Stoxx 600 Index Declines 0.3%

March 19 (Bloomberg) -- European stocks dropped after India’s central bank unexpectedly raised interest rates for the first time since July 2008.
The benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 Index fell 0.3 percent to 260.56 at 2:32 p.m. in London, after earlier rising as much as 0.6 percent.
