TUI Travel Posts First-Quarter Loss of 107 Million Pounds

Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- TUI Travel Plc posted a first-quarter operating loss excluding one-time items of 107 million pounds, compared with a loss of 35 million pounds a year earlier. First- quarter sales in the three months ended Dec. 31 fell 8 percent to 2.53 billion pounds. The company commented today in an e- mailed statement.
