Sergei Kudryashov, vice president of OAO Rosneft, Russia’s largest oil producer, has been named deputy energy minister, the country’s Energy Ministry said in an e-mailed statement today.
Kudryashov served as a vice president with now-defunct Yukos Oil Co. before working for Rosneft, the statement said. Kudryashov became Rosneft vice president for production in 2005, according to Rosneft’s Web site.
