Dynegy Inc., (DYN:US) a Houston-based power producer, restored output at a California generating unit.
The company's 510-megawatt Moss Landing Power Block 1 was operating at full capacity as of 3:15 p.m. today, the California Independent System Operator said in a report on curtailed and non-operational generating units.
The power block had 260 megawatts, or 50 percent, curtailed at the same time yesterday.
The plant's 754-megawatt Moss Landing Unit 6 and 756- megawatt Unit 7 have been shut since Oct. 30.
The natural gas-fired power plant is south of San Francisco.
One megawatt is enough for about 800 typical U.S. homes.
