HP's 12c: 30 years and (still) counting

In Silicon Valley, where you’re only as good as your next big thing, Hewlett-Packard’s 12c financial calculator is the rare exception: a gadget that’s basically unchanged even as it approaches its 30th birthday on Sept. 16. As one of only two calculators allowed on the Chartered Financial Analyst exam, it’s still a moneymaker for HP.
