They're from the government, and they're here to help. Thanks to a bill signed by President Bush on May 25, federal agencies will now have to publish compliance guides for small businesses whenever a new ruling is likely to have a significant impact on small companies. The guides will be posted on the individual agencies' Web sites and are supposed to make new regulations easier to understand and implement. Rules made simple? Sign us up.
