Cracking the Books
At most schools among our Top 50, two hours a day of studying is all it takes to get through the business program. But the University of Michigan isn't "most schools"

As a barometer of student engagement, few measures are better than the number of hours students spend on classwork each week. At our Top 50 schools, the number hovers around 14, but a number of schools, like Michigan, are significantly higher. The big surprise: several highly ranked schools, including No. 3 Berkeley and No. 12 Villanova, have below-average numbers, while some lower-ranked schools, like No. 49 Marquette, have some of the hardest working students around.
