No Cans Of Coke In Germany

It was interesting to see a photo with German Coca-Cola Co. (KO ) cans in "A cold shoulder for Coca-Cola" (European Business, May 2). After the German government passed a law in 2003 requiring a large deposit on soft drinks with carbonation sold in cans, Coca-Cola's German unit stopped production of all Coca-Cola products in cans more than a year ago. The picture you show in the magazine was probably not shot recently.
