The BBC wanted to create a space that would let passers-by on the street feel part of the buzz in the studio. The design solution includes interactive TV installations for visitors to sample current live services. Touch-sensitive pads on the middle window allow the public to get involved, whether by navigating an interactive news service or sending questions via SMS to guests and hosts of live shows in the studio with answers shown on a giant LED display visible from outside.
