Edited by Toddi Gutner Bilbao In A Bottle? The bottle for the new Wyborowa Single Estates vodka, rolling out this spring in Boston, Los Angeles, and New York, looks like a skyscraper with a slightly tilted face and sweeping curves. No wonder -- it was designed by an architect: Frank Gehry, creator of the futuristic Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and Spain's Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The rye-based liquid inside is said to be exceptionally pure, the product of a two-step distillation process on an estate in Turew, Poland. Given its purity and smoothness, it might even command its $30 price without the artfully sculpted bottle. By Gerry Khermouch A Suite For Fido Don't feel guilty the next time you go on vacation without your pet. Just book Fido or Fluffy into the new breed of animal hotels. This year retailer PetsMart (PETM ) plans to open 14 PetsHotels adjacent to its stores in cities such as Atlanta and Pittsburgh, adding to nine existing locations (petsmart.com/petshotel/index.shtml). Starting at $21, hotel stays for your pampered pooch include a private kennel, two walks per day, and time to socialize in supervised playrooms. Pay a $10 upgrade, and you can rent a suite with its own TV, showing Animal Planet. Customers may talk to their dog (or cat) by telephone each day -- and most do. If you can't bear to leave the little furball behind, you'll find more hotels with "Pets welcome" signs. The 20 Loews Hotels in major cities let pets stay free and give them toys and treats. At nearly 1,300 hotels affiliated with Cendant (CD ), including the Ramada chain, you'll pay a nominal pet fee of $20 a day or less. But check for restrictions -- some hotels limit four-legged guests to 20 lb. or under. By Lauren Young One Tough Tote On Wheels It's the Hummer of wheeled luggage. Originally designed for students who need to haul heavy textbooks and other teenage essentials from class to class, Züca's MobileLocker (zuca.com) is a convenient tote for laptop computers and business documents as well. The $100 carry-all has dual wheels to help it up steps and over curbs, and its sturdy aluminum frame doubles as a seat or step. Coming soon: a slightly narrower version that fits under airline seats and in overhead compartments. By Larry Armstrong
