MARCH 22, 2004
International -- Corrections & Clarifications

("The Invasion Of The Young Turks" Asian Business, Mar. 8, 2004)

Because of a currency-conversion error, figures for the costs and profits of a new series of low-budget "Bollywood" films in India were incorrect ("The invasion of the Young Turks," Asian Business, Mar. 8). The movies were generally made on budgets of less than $1 million, not $100,000. And Chameli, one of the films discussed, was produced for $660,000, not $66,000.

"All Eyes On The Corner Office" (European Business, Mar. 1, 2004)

Heinrich von Pierer, CEO of Germany's Siemens, studied law and economics. He was incorrectly described as an engineer in "All eyes on the corner office" (European Business, Mar. 1).
