"Can Motown get out of this funk?" (News: Analysis & Commentary, June 23) mischaracterized Standard & Poor's (MHP ) outlook on two auto companies. This spring S&P revised its ratings outlook on General Motors (GM ) Corp. and DaimlerChrysler (DCX ) to negative. However, it did not place either company on negative CreditWatch.
