Peter Howarth is managing director of Show Ltd, a new publishing company, which brings you this magazine. Peter has been editor of Esquire and Arena, style editor of GQ, projects manager at Paul Smith and head of menswear at Nicole Fahri, so he is clearly very well qualified to edit FashionWeek. When not immersed in the glamorous worlds of fashion and magazines, Peter is writing a novel.

Lee Strickland, who shot the fashion story, has been photographing around the world for over a decade. He has just completed a menswear ad campaign for Burton, and when he's not shooting advertisements, he's producing beautiful editorial for the likes of Harpers & Queen, ES magazine and Spoon. He travels constantly, but always rushes back to his bitches - two Jack Russells.

Lorenzo Agius has photographed more celebrities than he's had hot dates. He had fun shooting Pierce Brosnan. ``The first few pictures were dashing and elegant,'' he says, but as the shoot went on, he became a little wilder and the shoot became more emotionally based, which was exactly what I was looking for.'' He's just finished shooting the cast of The Matrix Reloaded for Warner Bros.

Nick Foulkes's biography of the scandalous early-19th-century gambling dandy Count d'Orsay is published in June by Little Brown. When not researching the lives of 19th-century fashion leaders, he writes for publications including the FT, The Mail on Sunday's Night & Day magazine, GQ and Country Life. He drives a classic Bentley, so was the obvious choice to preview the new Continental GT.
