One of these "country-club-for-a-day" places is bound to be near you (or your client). But to make your search a little easier, we've compiled a list of 75 of the best. Numbers 1 to 18 are all the public-access courses that appear on Golf Digest's ranking of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses. The rest of the list was generated by combining Golf Digest's Places to Play reader-rating scores for "overall experience" and "service." Some of these courses require overnight accommodation at their affiliated resort to be able to play, so call ahead for details, availability, fees, and reservations. Where facilities have more than one course, the ranked course is listed in parentheses:
