Bonds Lower
Treasuries were lower on Tuesday as equities rose and the dollar fell. The market is preparing for Greenspan's Senate testimony tomorrow

S&P MARKETSCOPE: Treasuries were sinking in relatively slow trading as stocks rose and the dollar fell. Players were positioning themselves for Greenspan's testimony to the Senate Banking Committee tomorrow about economic outlook, Fed policy, and Social Security reform. There were some curve flattening moves earlier. The market was little moved by reports on Retail Sales, Business Inventories, and Empire State Index. Treasury International Capital Flows data showed foreigners continued to buy U.S. securities.
