Giving Choices
Giving Choices is Halliburton's annual charity campaign for employees that offers the freedom to assign donations to the causes and organizations that matter most to employees. Due to the positive feedback from this program, we are expanding our campaigns this year to include Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Giving Choices lets employees support as many eligible organizations as they want, in amounts that are comfortable for them. As an added benefit, the nonprofits designated by employees receive 110 percent of the employee's donation. This is because Halliburton absorbs the administrative overhead that most organizations spend on fundraising campaigns--typically about 12 percent of the monies raised--and donates an additional 10 percent of the employee's donation to the selected charities.

Giving Choices brings donors to charities, providing non-profits with a high-yield, low-cost method of fundraising and allows them to concentrate their dollars on direct services to clients. It also introduces new donors and volunteers to worthy charities.

For communities, Giving Choices directs important resources to those in need and keeps vital services available and accessible.
