S&P/Case-Shiller – Better Numbers

Posted by: Howard Silverblatt on August 25, 2009

S&P has just released their monthly S&P/Cash-Shiller home price indices for June. Overall, better numbers. The index however is made up of 20 city indices and 2 composites, with monthly data bask to 1987, and cities, similar to stocks, differ. Data should therefore be viewed with history. The link below will permit you download a single historical file with the monthly data on the 22 indices for your use.
