Eye on Morningstar

Posted by: Lauren Young on August 23, 2007

Morningstar has been adding some interesting features to its site. Last week, I noticed a new Options channel, which is still in the Beta stage. The site offers content, such as “How To” videos, which is similar to the Fidelity stuff fellow blogger Aaron Pressman wrote about in February.

It’s also worthwhile to check out Morningstar’s Ultimate Stock-Picker’s Portfolio, which combines Morningstar stock recommendations with a cross-section of picks from legendary fund managers, including Legg Mason Value Trust’s Bill Miller.

The most recent stocks owned by the portfolio include: Tyco, Covidien, Wal-Mart and Dell. A blog is forthcoming, so stay tuned.
