CNBC personality and Business Week columnist Maria Bartiromo sent stocks and Treasurys tumbling with her afternoon "exclusive": Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke confessed to her at Saturday's White House Correspondents Association's dinner that it was "worrisome" that the market interpreted his recent comments to Capitol Hill as too dovish.

Stocks abruptly sold off on the report. That's some priceless advertising for CNBC's 3:00 hour!

Is Maria perhaps gunning for the top PR job at the Federal Reserve?
