Top Executive MBA Programs

BusinessWeek 's 2009 Executive MBA program rankings are based on three separate surveys of EMBA graduates—in 2009, 2007, and 2005—and a poll of EMBA program directors. The 2009 graduate poll was sent to 5,056 students at 83 programs, of whom 2,974 responded (58%); the director poll was sent to 83 directors, of whom 69 responded (83%). Graduates were surveyed on various measures, including teaching quality, career services, and curriculum. EMBA program directors were asked to list their top 10 programs overall. Tuition and enrollment data were provided by the schools. Out-of-state tuition figures are used where appropriate. Minority percentage excludes Asian-Americans. Graduates' years of work experience is an average based on the 2009 graduate survey results. Letter grades are based on the 2009 graduate survey only. In each category, the top 20% earned an A+, the next 25% received As, the next 35% were awarded Bs, and the bottom 20% got Cs.
