Among Top 30 MBA programs, the percentage of alumni making contributions to their alma mater increased modestly this year, but the amount given fell more than 4 percent to an average of $153.91 in 2010, from $160.68 a year earlier. Not all schools reported figures for both years, including Wharton, Kellogg, and Carnegie Mellon. The good news: six top programs including Chicago, Harvard, and Columbia, snared gifts in excess of $10 million, up from 4 in 2009.
