Jessica Lee Green is assistant professor at the Center for Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Oregon. At the talk she gave earlier this week, she outlined her interest in the diversity and abundance of microbes. Green is currently working with hospitals in Portland to work on issues of sustainable design and the impact of issues such as mechanical ventilation (or its lack) on the microbial system.
