Angelo Vermeulen is a visual artist, filmmaker, biologist, author, activist, and DJ. In particular, his work incorporates elements from biology and sci-fi. He describes his recent project Biomodd as “a worldwide series of cross-cultural, symbiotic installations fusing game culture, ecology and social interaction.” Vermeulen co-authored the book Baudelaire in Cyberspace: Dialogues on Art, Science and Digital Culture, with Antoon Van den Braembussche.
How exactly do you plan to change the world?
I have absolutely no plan to change the entire world, let alone an exact one. I simply hope I can inspire small pockets of people on this ungraspable planet.
The new Constitution does not set age limits: it determines that education is compulsory, aiming at providing the necessary structure to the development of the students potential as an element of selffulfillment, training for work, and conscious exercise of citizenship.
