The Value of Design to Business, Health & Society

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on February 2, 2010

Helen Walters at Bloomberg Business Week has put together a brilliant package of stories on the value of design in business and society. It’s a must read.

Angel investor Dave McClure talks about the value of design to startups (design is more important then technology).

IDEO’s Diego Rodriguez
explains how the best business outcomes result from tight collaboration and integration of design, marketing and research.

Dr. Jay Parkinson, founder of Hello Health, shows how we can redesign our health care system.

And Ravi Sawhney and Deepa Prahalad explain the true role of design inside business.

Best essays on creativity and innovation I’ve seen in one package.

Things you brought up made . However, think about this, let's say you integrated a little bit more? I am talking about, I dont tend to tell you how you can write your website, however what if you actually added more stuff that can easily grab people's awareness? Simply like a online video or even a photo or maybe 2 to have people psyched about what you mentioned.
