Acumen Fund's Jacqueline Novogratz Speaks At Parsons Monday Night

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on April 5, 2009

The founder of the non-profit venture capital Acumen Fund, Jacqueline Novogratz, is coming to present at my Design-At-The-Edge series at Parsons School of Design in NYY Monday night at 6PM. It will bein the Teresa Lange Center, 55 West 13st., 2nd floor. Jacqueline’s new book, The Blue Sweater, is one of the most beautifully written accounts of social entrepreneurship I’ve ever read. It is the real stuff.

So come if you can. And check into this link to Inside Innovation for a cover story on the Acumen innovation model.

And for the “official” book review of The Blue Sweater, check this link. It’s by Helen Walters.

Hi Bruce - You know we're big fans of Jacqueline here at BIF. In fact it was your story that led me to her.

Our online book group just selected The Blue Sweater as its featured selection for April. We're just getting started. New members are welcome!
