Designing America After The Election.

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on November 4, 2008

I’m a few hours away from flying to Dubai for a World Economic Forum meet-fest on designing the world post-crisis. Brian Collins is in my Design GAC—Global Agenda Council— and he sent along this incredible video that frames our mission.

It shows the incredible forces of change enveloping global society—especially US society—and the challenges ahead for the next President. It also shows how design thinking can guide us in an uncertain and challenging world.

Thanks Brian.

Bruce,

I couldn't agree with you more.

If as designers we think;" Its not how you feel about the design or experience, its how it make's you feel about yourself." , we can clearly understand and learn from the phenomenon of this election.

Its not how voters feel about Obama, its how he makes them feel about themselves; empowered !

Your posting yesterday is short in writing in extremely long in message.

Thank You, Bruce

Ravi
