We now all know that Obama is running a Membership campaign versus Clinton’s Consumer compaign. His is a movement for social change that people belong to. Hers is an coalition of interest groups that are promised delivery of specific goods.
What do you think?
Actually, Hillary is offering the middle class what it needs, particularlyl health coverage for EVERY American. Barack Obama isn't. How much longer can he keep spouting platitudes that have nothing to do with the reality of "governing". Big word that. Governing.
Obama is the giddy promise of an Apple Store; Hillary is the 6pt. type on the side of a cereal box.
If you study Obama's life and growth, you can see how he learns from the people among who he walks, and how he stays true. Today he reflects the culture's embrace of social media, of the belief in "we". The road narrows.
People should look @ the facts. Obama has no experience in foreign policy, health care or how to get health care to all Americans or how to stimulate a weak economy. The presidency of United States is not the place to "learn as you go"!! We also need a clear & realistic plan on how to get out of Iraq (that won't include a massive slaughter of Iraqi people like when we left vietnam). We do need to get out of there but it is going to take someone with some concrete plans in foreign policy & the only hope for that is Clinton. Don't elect someone because they make you feel warm & fuzzy w/ idealistic views (my 6yr old has those), it requires some kind of real experience that is not too far out in LEFT FIELD remember a little thing called MIDDLE GROUND?
Obama is one of the best pitchmen we've ever seen. The sad truth is there's more to governing than just pitching- - - and the sadder aspect of this scene is the ease with which so many adult Americans are so ready to buy the pitch with no assurance of ever seeing the product.
Our family experienced the best of times financially when Bill Clinton was in office, and he successfully eliminated the hellish trade deficit which he inherited. New voters are too young to remember those good times and all that he accomplished. Hillary was there for it all. . .I believe that while Hillary, when elected, will be her own person as President, she is wise enough to emulate some of Bill's best practices.
Frankly Obama scares me. I just see a skilled orator who is a master at getting his audiences jazzed. . .
