Right after the Consumer Electronics Show, we have the Detroit Auto Show and the concept cars that could show us the future. Ford’s Land Rover is up for sale and India’s Tata conglomerate appears to be the leading candidate to buy it (and Jaguar. I realize Tata is about to unveil its own’s $2,500 car and the head snap of buying a major luxury brand may be painful. But, if Tata buys the Land Rover, it might want to consider putting this “greener” model on the road. It’s a mashup of a sports coup and an SUV, with an environmentally friendlier interior and lighter weight to save on fuel.
I like the smaller size, the flowing lines and greenish focus.
This car is full of sensational design. Land Rover has made a jump in years from its boxy predecessors to trucks with lines and curves reminiscent of a sports coupe.
