I had lunch with David Armano last week to talk about social media, the return of craft, the rise of identity to replace experience and lots of other fun things. He asked about my “Innovation Gym” talk that I’ve given at various conferences and I did a riff for him. We build a small innovation gym before we launched IN to give us inspiration and spark some creativity. Innovation gyms are going out of style these days, perhaps for good reason. But we needed one at Business Week—and, in the end, it was only one that we could get.
It was a good day so I hammed it up. Take a look. Truth in comedy.
