Social Networking Webinar With Daphne Kwon of ExpoTV, Doug Atkins of Meetup.com and Joe Robinson of A Small World.

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on November 15, 2007

I’m going to be moderating a panel, along with Innovation editor Reena Jana, next Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 2PM on the how social networking is disrupting traditional business organizations.

Daphne Kwan of ExpoTv will be there. So will Douglas Atkins of Meetup.com. And Joe Robinson of A Small World. What’s cool about this webinar is the presence of three pioneers who will push way beyond the hype and tripe out there and talk about the “true truth” of social media. I’ve seen Daphne, Doug and Joe talk about this subject before at a closed workshop with IDEO and they just rivited the audience. This is a great opportunity for people to hear them and question them live.

Some topics: What do you do when your customers hijack your brand? Is your company prepared?
How are social media networks driving new forms of innovation?
How can your customers become your biggest allies in the creation of new ideas?

We will also discuss the different types of networks out there, how communication flows within them, and how this affects businesses at an organizational and employee level.

So logon and join the conversation.
